BASEL

The city of Basel is situated in the tri-border region Switzerland-France-Germany and is known for its international flair and great cultural diversity. With some 40 museums, a rich theatre and music life and many sights Basel is on a par with some larger European cities. Visitors are delighted with Basel’s intact historic city and the beautiful view over the Rhine which devides the city into two parts. Among many personalities Bohuslav Martinů found a (second) home in Basel.
